RESOLUTION NO. 99-16
CALLING FOR HEARING ON IMPROVEMENTS
FERNDALE ROAD — U.S. HWY. 12 TO
COUNTY ROAD 6
CITY PROJECT NO. 6007
WHEREAS, a Preliminary Engineering Report was accepted by the Council on April 15,
1998, with respect to improvements to Ferndale Road from U.S. Hwy. 12 to County Road
6; and
WHEREAS, the proposed improvement includes the reconstruction of Ferndale Road by
the installation of a 28' wide bituminous roadway with concrete curb and gutter, storm
sewer, a bituminous trail, and all necessary appurtenances; and
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA:
1. The Council will consider the improvement of such project in
accordance with the report and the assessment of abutting and adjacent
property along Ferndale Road from U.S. Hwy. 12 to County Road 6
for all or a portion of the cost of the improvement pursuant to
Minnesota Statutes 429.011 to 429.111 (Laws 1953, Chapter 398, as
amended) at an estimated total cost of the improvement of
$1,301,033.00.
2. A public hearing shall be held on such proposed improvement on the
2nd day of February, 1999 in the Council Chambers of the Plymouth
City Center at 3400 Plymouth Boulevard at 7:00 p.m., and the Clerk
shall give mailed and published notice of such hearing and
improvements as required by law.
