APPROVING LAND USE GUIDE PLAN AMENDMENT FOR THE ASSOCIATION FREE
LUTHERAN BIBLE SCHOOL FOR PROPERTY LOCATED AT 3110 EAST MEDICINE
LAKE BOULEVARD (98042)
WHEREAS, The Association Free Lutheran Bible School has requested reclassification of the
land use guiding from LA -I (Living Area 1) to P -I (Public/Semi-Public/Institutional) for the
roughly 23 -acre site located at 3110 East Medicine Lake Boulevard; and,
WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has reviewed said request at a duly called Public Hearing.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA, that it should and hereby does approve the request by the
Association Free Lutheran Bible School for reclassification of the land use guiding from LA -I
(Living Area 1) to P -I (Public/Semi-Public/Institutional) for the roughly 23 -acre site located at
3110 East Medicine Lake Boulevard, based on the finding that the site meets the spirit and intent
of the guidelines and locational criteria for P -I (Public/Semi-Public/Institutional) guiding.
FURTHER, approval of the Land Use Guide Plan Amendment is contingent upon, and subject to,
the required review and response by the Metropolitan Council.
ADOPTED by the City Council this 16th day of December, 1998.
