RESOLUTION 98-734
APPROVING FINDINGS OF FACT FOR AMENDING SECTION 21475.07
(ACCESSORY USES IN THE CITY CENTER DISTRICT) AND SECTION 21650.05
(ACCESSORY USES IN THE PUBLIC/INSTITUTIONAL DISTRICT) OF THE
PLYMOUTH CITY CODE (98193)
WHEREAS, the City of Plymouth has found it necessary to amend the City Code with
respect to liquor on -sale when accessory to a permitted use in the public/institutional
districts within the City; and
WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has reviewed the Zoning Ordinance text
amendments at a duly called Public Hearing and recommends approval; and
WHEREAS, the City Council has adopted Ordinance No. 98-41 amending the Zoning
Ordinance text relating to the sale of liquor on -sale when accessory to a permitted use in
the public/institutional districts within the City;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA, that revisions to Section 21475.07 and
Section 21650.05 of the City Code are necessary based on the following findings:
1. The amendments are consistent with the Comprehensive Plan and other City policies
and plans.
2. The amendments meet the purpose and intent of the Ordinance.
Adopted by the City Council on this 16th day of December, 1998.
