HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Resolution 1998-701CITY OF PLYMOUTH RESOLUTION 98-701 APPROVING FIRE LANE VARIANCE FOR OPUS NORTHWEST, LLC FOR COMPUTER NETWORK TECHNOLOGY TO BE LOCATED NORTH OF BASS LAKE ROAD AND EAST OF NATHAN LANE (98152) WHEREAS, Opus Northwest, LLC has requested approval of a fire lane variance for a new office building to be located north of Bass Lake Road and east of Nathan Lane, legally described as Lot 4, Block 1, Bass Creek Business Park 4"' Addition. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA, that it should and hereby does approve the request by Opus Northwest, LLC for a fire lane variance, subject to the following conditions: I . The building must be protected by an approved automatic fire sprinkler system. 2. The building must be protected by an approved automatic fire alarm system. 3. Approved size and type standpipes must be installed in the building. 4. The hydrant system must be a looped system. 5. Access walks must be provided to all exterior door locations. The access walks must be a minimum of four feet wide and constricted of a paved all-weather surface material. ADOPTED by the City Council on November 18, 1998.
