HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Resolution 1998-696CITY OF PLYMOUTH RESOLUTION 98-696 APPROVING CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT FOR RUMMIE CONSTRUCTION TO RELOCATE A SINGLE FAMILY HOME ONTO PROPERTY LOCATED AT 9540 -17TH AVENUE NORTH (98168) WHEREAS, Rummie Constriction has requested a conditional use permit to allow the relocation of a single family home onto property legally described as follows: Lot 13, Block 2, Inglebrae, Hennepin County, Minnesota. WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has reviewed said request at a duly called Public Hearing and recommends approval subject to the conditions outlined below. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA, that it should and hereby does approve the request by Rummie Constriction for a conditional use permit, subject to the following conditions: 1. A conditional use permit is approved to relocate a single family home onto property located at 9540 — 17"' Avenue North, as identified on the plans received on September 17, 1998. 2. Prior to issuance of a building permit, the applicant shall receive an administrative permit to locate the home on a non -conforming lot of record. 3. The applicant shall complete the repairs and work identified in the Building Inspection Report dated August 24, 1998. Additionally, the applicant shall install new siding or other exterior finish on the exterior of the home and proposed additions to make it compatible with the neighborhood. The applicant shall specify the type and color of the exterior finish on the building permit application for staff review. Resolution 98-696 (98168) Page 2 4. The applicant shall provide an exclusive letter of credit to the City of Plymouth in an amount equal to the total costs involved to correct the deficiencies and install a new exterior finish on the home and addition. If the applicant plans to do the work, the applicant shall submit a cost estimate from a third party contractor for the required work. 5. The required work and repairs must be completed within six (6) months of receiving a building permit. 6. Standard Conditions: A. Any subsequent phases or expansions are subject to required reviews and approvals per Ordinance provisions. B. The permit is subject to all applicable codes, regulations and ordinances, and violation thereof shall be grounds for revocation. C. This approval shall expire one year after the date of approval, unless the property owner or applicant has substantially started constriction of the project, or unless the landowner or applicant has received prior approval from the City to extend the expiration date for up to one additional year, as regulated under Section 21015.07 of the Zoning Ordinance.
