RESOLUTION NO. 98-684
AUTHORIZING THE VACATION OF
A TRAIL EASEMENT
DOCUMENT NO. 5959524
WHEREAS, a petition was received to vacate a trail easement created by Document No. 5959524; and
WHEREAS, said petition was signed by a majority of the owners of the land abutting the area
proposed to be vacated; and
WHEREAS, a public hearing with respect to said vacation was scheduled for November 4, 1998 in
accordance with Minnesota Statutes 412.851 and the City Charter Section 12.06; and
WHEREAS, a notice of publication of said hearing was published and posted two weeks prior to the
meeting of November 4, 1998; and
WHEREAS, all property owners adjacent to the proposed vacation were duly notified by mail; and
WHEREAS, the Council did hold a public hearing on November 4, 1998 to inform any and all
interested parties relevant to the vacation of a trail easement created by Document No. 5959524; and
WHEREAS, it was determined by the City Council that said easements were not needed for public
purposes;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA: That the following trail easement created by Document No. 5959524
be vacated:
The east 30 feet of the west 80 feet of the Southwest Quarter of the Northeast Quarter of
the Southeast Quarter of Section 18, Township 118 North, Range 22 West, Hennepin
County, Minnesota. Excepting therefrom the north 50 feet.
