HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Resolution 1998-666CITY OF PLYMOUTH RESOLUTION 98-666 APPROVING CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT AND SITE PLAN AMENDMENT TO ALLOW INSTALLATION OF A 65 -FOOT HIGH MONOPOLE AND RELATED GROUND EQUIPMENT FOR WIRELESS COMM[_]NICATION SERVICES AT 17405 COUNTY ROAD 6 (98159) WHEREAS, US West Wireless, LLC has requested approval of a conditional use permit and site plan amendment for a 65 -foot high monopole to be located on property legally described as Lot 2, Block 1, Oakwood Square, Hennepin County, Minnesota; and WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has reviewed said request at a duly called public hearing and recommends approval. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA, that it should and hereby does approve the request by US West Wireless, LLC for a conditional use permit and site plan amendment at 17405 County Road 6, subject to the following conditions: I. This approval is for a conditional use permit and site plan amendment to allow installation of a 65 -foot high monopole, three PCS antennas, and related ground equipment, pursuant to the application materials and plans received by the City on August 21, 1998 and September 4, 1998, except as amended by this resolution. 2. Prior to installation of the monopole, the applicant shall secure the appropriate building permits. 3. The monopole shall be painted a non -contrasting color or shall have a galvanized finish. Resolution 98-666 (98159) Page 2 4. The monopole shall double as a light standard in order to meet the co -location requirement. 5. Standard Conditions: a. The permit is subject to all applicable codes, regulations and ordinances, and violation thereof shall be grounds for revocation. b. Any subsequent phases or expansions are subject to required reviews and approvals per Ordinance provisions. c. This approval shall expire one year after the date of approval, unless the property owner or applicant has commenced the use, or unless the landowner or applicant has received prior approval from the City to extend the expiration date for up to one additional year, as regulated under Sections 21015.07 and 21045.09 of the Zoning Ordinance. ADOPTED by the City Council on November 4, 1998.
