RESOLUTION NO. 98-617
AUTHORIZING THE VACATION OF
SCHMIDT LAKE ROAD STREET RIGHT-OF-WAY
TYRELL EIGHTH ADDITION
WHEREAS, a petition was received to vacate certain portion of Schmidt Lake Road street right-of-
way in Tyrell Eighth Addition; and
WHEREAS, said petition was signed by a majority of the owners of the land abutting the area
proposed to be vacated; and
WHEREAS, a public hearing with respect to said vacation was scheduled for October 7, 1998 in
accordance with Minnesota Statutes 412.851 and the City Charter Section 12.06; and
WHEREAS, a notice of publication of said hearing was published and posted two weeks prior to the
meeting of October 7, 1998; and
WHEREAS, all property owners adjacent to the proposed vacation were duly notified by mail; and
WHEREAS, the Council did hold a public hearing on October 7, 1998 to inform any and all interested
parties relevant to the vacation of a portion of Schmidt Lake Road street right-of-way in Tyrell Eighth
Addition; and
WHEREAS, it was determined by the City Council that said easements were not needed for public
purposes;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA: That the following portion of Schmidt Lake Road street right-of-way
be vacated:
All of Schmidt Lake Road lying within Tyrell Eighth Addition according to the
recorded plat thereof Hennepin County, Minnesota.
