RESOLUTION NO. 98-608
REQUEST FOR PAYMENT NO. 2 AND FINAL
TEMPORARY TRAFFIC CONTROL SIGNAL SYSTEM
PEONY LANE/OLD ROCKFORD ROAD
CITY PROJECT NO. 5002
WHEREAS, the City of Plymouth as owner and Egan -McKay Electrical Contractors, Inc.
as contractor, have entered into an emergency contract for Peony Lane/Old Rockford
Road, Temporary Traffic Control Signal System, City Project No. 5002, said contract was
authorized by Council Resolution dated November 5, 1997; and
WHEREAS, the Engineer has certified his acceptance of the work and his approval of the
final request for payment.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA:
1. That the original emergency contract amount was $33,672.00. Two change
orders were approved in the amount of $12,277.00 and the value of the
work to date is $45,949.00 and is herewith approved. This project equaled
the revised contract amount.
2. That the work performed by the contractor for Peony Lane/Old Rockford
Road, Temporary Traffic Control Signal System and certified to the
Council by the engineer as acceptable, being the same, is hereby released
from the emergency contract except as to the conditions of the
performance bond, any and all legal rights of the owner, required
guarantees and correction of faulty work after final payment.
3. Request for Payment No. 2 and Final in the amount of $13,961.00 to Egan -
McKay Electrical Contractors, Inc. for Peony Lane/Old Rockford Road
Temporary Traffic Control Signal System is hereby approved and the City
Finance Director is hereby authorized and directed to pay the same
forthwith.
Adopted by the City Council on October 7, 1998.
