RESOLUTION NO. 98-605
APPROVING THE PLACEMENT OF
"NO PARKING" SIGNS ON CERTAIN STREETS WITHIN THE
1998 STREET RECONSTRUCTION PROJECT
CITY PROJECT NO. 8001
WHEREAS, The 1998 Street Reconstruction Project includes reconstruction of the following
streets:
• Harbor Lane - 7t" Avenue to lot" Avenue
• lot" Avenue - Harbor Lane to Ithaca Lane
• Ithaca Lane Cul-de-sac - South of loth Avenue
• Quinwood Lane - l It" Avenue to Pineview Lane
• 13t'' Avenue Cul-de-sac - west of Pineview Lane
and that all or portions of these streets are being constricted to a width substantially less than City
standard due to right of way, topographic and physical limitations; and
WHEREAS, on street parking on both sides of these narrower streets would create a public nuisance
and potential traffic congestion;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA: That it hereby authorizes the installation of "No Parking
Anytime" signs at the following locations:
1. East side of Harbor Lane from 8"' Avenue to 10"' Avenue.
2. North side of 10"' Avenue from Harbor Lane to Ithaca Lane.
3. West side of Ithaca Lane Cul-de-sac south of 10"' Avenue and all of turn -around at south
end.
4. South and north sides of Quinwood Lane from Pineview Lane to 11"' Avenue.
5. Both sides of that portion of Quinwood Lane between Pineview Lane and 10'
Avenue which is adjacent to the landscape island.
6. South side of 13"' Avenue Cul-de-sac west of Pineview Lane.
Adopted by the City Council on October 7, 1998.
