HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Resolution 1998-588CITY OF PLYMOUTH RESOLUTION NO. 98-588 Affirming that there are no plans to change 36"' Avenue east of Zachary Lane to a four lane road and providing for notice to the adjoining neighborhood of any change in plans to implement either a third turning lane or four lane road. WHEREAS the City of Plymouth received a petition requesting trail and other pedestrian oriented improvements along 36th` venue east of Zachary Lane; and, WHEREAS, the City of Plymouth has designed the improvements and has proceeded with the bidding process; and, WHEREAS, the residents desire some clarification on the City's plans for implementing four lanes of traffic on this segment of 36"' Avenue; and, WHEREAS, if the City develops any plans for implementing four lanes of traffic or a traffic turning lane, residents seek to be notified of such plans; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL, OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA: that the has no plans to implement four lanes of traffic on 36"' Avenue east of Zachary Lane and, Be it further resolved that should any plans be developed to implement either four lanes of traffic or a lane of turning traffic that the residents adjacent to the roadway will be notified of such plans by the City.
