HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Resolution 1998-571CITY OF PLYMOUTH RESOLUTION 98-571 APPROVING SITE PLAN AMENDMENT TO ALLOW CONSTRUCTION OF A SWIMMING POOL AT OAKWOOD APARTMENTS, 17600 -14TH AVENUE NORTH (98151) WHEREAS, Bigos Management, Inc. has requested approval of a site plan amendment to allow constriction of a swimming pool to be located on the following described property: Lot 3, Block 1, Schiebe's Oakwood WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has reviewed said request at a duly called Public Meeting and recommends approval. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA, that it should and hereby does approve the request by Bigos Management for a site plan amendment at Oakwood Apartments, subject to the following conditions: 1. This approval is for a site plan amendment to allow constriction of a 20 x 40 foot swimming pool and related equipment, in accordance with the application and plans received by the City on August 14, 1998. 2. The applicant must obtain the appropriate permits from the Building Division prior to commencing any work on the swimming pool. 3. The pool area shall be equipped with motion sensor lighting for nighttime security. 4. The pool riles and hours shall be posted at the entrance to the pool. Resolution 98-571 Page 2 5. Standard Conditions: a) Any subsequent phases or expansions are subject to required reviews and approvals per Ordinance provisions. b) Compliance with the Ordinance regarding the location of fire hydrants, post indicator valve, fire department connection, fire lanes, and fire lane signage prior to issuance of building permits. c) This approval shall expire one year after the date of approval, unless the property owner or applicant has substantially started constriction of the project, or unless the landowner or applicant has received prior approval from the City to extend the expiration date for up to one additional year, as regulated under Section 21045.09 of the Zoning Ordinance.
