RESOLUTION NO. 98 - 518
PETITION FOR/AGAINST STREET
LIGHTING IN CAVANAUGH ADDITION
WHEREAS, a petition has been received from 29% of the residents requesting
installation of residential street lighting in the Cavanaugh Addition; and
WHEREAS, a petition has been received from 47% of the residents against the
installation of residential street lighting in the Cavanaugh Addition.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA:
That a public hearing not be held to consider the installation of street lights in the
Cavanaugh Addition unless a new petition is received from at least 60% of the property
owners requesting that street lights be installed.
Adopted by the City Council on August 19, 1998.
