HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Resolution 1998-474CITY OF PLYMOUTH RESOLUTION 98-474 ACCEPTING DONATION OF THE LITTLE PENINSULA WHEREAS, the Homestead Village Company has offered to donate the Little Peninsula on Medicine Lake to the City of Plymouth for park purposes, and WHEREAS, the Park and Recreation Advisory Commission has reviewed said proposal, and WHEREAS, the Director of Parks and Recreation has reviewed said proposal, and WHEREAS, the City Council has reviewed this proposal from Homestead Village along with the recommendation from the Director of Parks and Recreation and the Park and Recreation Advisory Commission, NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE PLYMOUTH CITY COUNCIL that the City of Plymouth hereby agrees to accept the Little Peninsula on Medicine Lake with the following conditions: a. Phase 1 environmental audit shall be done and the results are satisfactory to the City. b. All hazards on the property shall be cleaned up. C. Homestead Village provides clear access easement to the City. d. The donation of the property comes with no strings attached. Adopted by the City Council on August 5, 1998
