RESOLUTION NO 98-439
APPROVING WATER UTILITY RATE STUDY WITH SPRINGSTED
WHEREAS, the City's water utility has not had a rate study performed for over ten
years, and
WHEREAS, the water rates, demand charges, senior citizen discounts and hydrant
inspections charges need to be reviewed, and
WHEREAS, Springsted, the City's Financial Consultants, have provided a proposal to
perform the Water Utility Rate Study for $8,940, and the City Council has reviewed the
proposal, and
WHEREAS, fiinds are available within the Water Fund to perform the study.
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA, that the proposal from Springsted to
perform a Water Utility Rate Study for $8,940 is hereby approved.
FURTHER BE IT RESOLVED, that fiinds for the study shall come from the Water
Fund.
