COMMENDING PATRICIA WILDER FOR HER SERVICE TO THE CITY OF
PLYMOUTH AND TO THE NORTHWEST HENNEPIN HUMAN SERVICES
COUNCIL
WHEREAS, Patricia Wilder has served as Executive Director of the Northwest Hennepin
Human Services Council since 1987, providing human services planning and coordination to
the City of Plymouth and to fourteen other cities; and
WHEREAS, during her tenure Northwest Hennepin Human Services Council has created
and implemented many programs which better the lives of residents, such as Point Northwest,
Success by 6 Northwest, Law Enforcement Cadets, diversity efforts, emergency services, and
welfare to work initiatives; and
WHEREAS, Patricia Wilder has served the citizens of Plymouth and the northwest
Hennepin area with her broad knowledge of human services, her expertise, her strong sense of
fiscal responsibility, her imagination, and her ability to see opportunities to improve life in the
region; and
WHEREAS, Patricia Wilder has accepted a new position where her talents will continue
to serve non-profit agencies;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Plymouth,
Minnesota that Patricia Wilder is hereby commended for her dedicated service to the City of
Plymouth and to the northwest Hennepin area, and expresses its deep gratitude for her efforts
on behalf of all residents of the service area of the Northwest Hennepin Human Services
Council; and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Plymouth City Council extends its best wishes
for continued success in Ms. Wilder's new career.
