RESOLUTION NO. 98-436
ORDERING PUBLIC HEARING ON THE VACATION OF
PART OF THE DRAINAGE AND UTILITY EASEMENTS WITHIN
OUTLOT F, SILVERTHORNE ADDITION
WHEREAS, pursuant to M.S.A. 412.851 and the City Charter Section 12.06, Troy Gamble, on
behalf of Laurent Development, has petitioned the City Council for the vacation of the following
drainage and utility easements recorded as Document Numbers 5406653 and 5297316:
The drainage and utility easement within Outlot F, Silverthorne Addition described
as follows: Commencing at the southwest corner of said Outlot F; thence on an
assumed bearing of North 89 degrees 49 minutes 53 seconds East along the southerly
line of said Outlot F, a distance of 195.67 feet to the point of beginning of the center
line to be described; thence North 00 degrees 10 minutes 07 seconds West, a distance
of 168.00 feet; thence North 46 degrees 03 minutes 29 seconds East, a distance of
176.50 feet; thence North 19 degrees 50 minutes 59 seconds East, a distance of 85.24
feet; thence North 17 degrees 50 minutes 02 seconds West, a distance of 129.50 feet;
thence North 37 degrees 33 minutes 51 seconds East, a distance of 105.22 feet;
thence North 82 degrees 43 minutes 08 seconds East, a distance of 143.78 feet;
thence North 36 degrees 55 minutes 09 seconds East, a distance of 171.99 feet;
thence North 21 degrees 02 minutes 27 seconds East, a distance of 154.75 feet;
thence North 56 degrees 38 minutes 02 seconds East, a distance of 109.77 feet;
thence North 35 degrees 40 minutes 30 seconds East, a distance of 141.12 feet;
thence North 13 degrees 29 minutes 44 seconds East, a distance of 104.66 feet to the
northerly line of said Outlot F and there terminating.
The side lines of said 20.00 foot easement are to be prolonged or shortened to
terminate at said northerly line of said Outlot F.
A permanent easement for drainage and utility purposes over, under and across that
part of the above descried property described as a 20.00 foot wide strip of land, the
centerline of which is described as follows: Commencing at the southwest corner of
said Outlot F; thence on an assumed bearing of north 89 degrees, 49 minutes, 53
seconds east along the southerly line of said Outlot F, a distance of 195.67 feet to the
point of beginning of the centerline to be described; thence continuing as on the
description.
AND WHEREAS, the City Council has reviewed said request and found the same to be in order;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA: That it should, and hereby does, establish the date of August 19,
1998 at 7:00 p.m. in the Council Chambers, Plymouth City Center, 3400 Plymouth Boulevard, as
the time and place for the public hearing of said petition and directs the administrative staff to
publish notice of said hearing as provided by law.
