RESOLUTION NO. 98-435
ORDERING PUBLIC HEARING ON THE VACATION OF
A PART OF SCHMIDT LAKE ROAD RIGHT-OF-WAY
SILVERTHORNE ADDITION
WHEREAS, pursuant to M.S.A. 412.851 and the City Charter Section 12.06, Troy Gamble, on
behalf of Laurent Development, has petitioned the City Council for the vacation of the following
part of Schmidt Lake Road street right-of-way:
That part of Schmidt Lake Road as dedicated in the plat of Silverthorne, Hennepin
County, Minnesota, lying east of a line described as follows: Commencing at the
southeast corner of Outlot E, in said Silverthorne; thence South 89 degrees 11
minutes 45 seconds West, assumed bearing, along the south line of said Outlot E a
distance of 235.88 feet to the point of beginning of the line to be described; thence
North a distance of 202.68 feet to the northerly right-of-way line of said Schmidt
Lake Road and there terminating.
AND WHEREAS, the City Council has reviewed said request and found the same to be in order;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA: That it should, and hereby does, establish the date of August
19, 1998 at 7:00 p.m. in the Council Chambers, Plymouth City Center, 3400 Plymouth
Boulevard, as the time and place for the public hearing of said petition and directs the
administrative staff to publish notice of said hearing as provided by law.
Adopted by the City Council on July 22, 1998.
