RESOLUTION NO. 98-426
CONTRACT WITH GOVERN SOFTWARE
WHEREAS, the City's current utility billing system is no longer able to meet the needs of the
City
WHEREAS, the City is involved in a multi-year project to implement new computer systems and
phase out the City's older, mainframe systems
AND WHEREAS, the City wishes to complete its implementation of a new generation of infor-
mation systems that can meet both current and fiiture needs
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA, THAT THE Mayor and City Manager are authorized
to sign the July 1998 contract with Govern for a utility billing system.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA, THAT THE project cost of $75,515 will be fiinded within the
original multi-year information system project budget of $1,147,424 approved by the City Council
on March 6, 1996.
Adopted by the City Council on July 22, 1998.
