RESOLUTION NO. 98 - 416
APPROVING COOPERATIVE AGREEMENT
FERNDALE ROAD IMPROVEMENTS
CITY OF PLYMOUTH AND
CITY OF ORONO
PLYMOUTH CITY PROJECT NO. 6007
WHEREAS, an improvement project is proposed for Ferndale Road between County Road 6 and
Highway 12; and
WHEREAS, portions of this roadway are within Plymouth and portions are within Orono and
therefore a joint improvement project is necessary; and
WHEREAS, the cities have reached agreement on design parameters and cost sharing for the
improvement project; and
WHEREAS, it is necessary to have an agreement between Orono and Plymouth designating
Plymouth as the lead agency for the project and specifying design concepts and cost sharing.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA: That the Mayor and City Manager are authorized to enter into
the Ferndale Road Improvement Agreement with Orono for the improvement of Ferndale Road
from County Road 6 to Highway 12.
Adopted by the City Council on July 8, 1998.
