Home My WebLink AboutCity Council Resolution 1998-412CITY OF PLYMOUTH RESOLUTION NO. 98 - 412 APPROVING AMENDED GRADES, ADDITIONAL TITLES AND ENHANCED SALARY RANGES FOR INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY POSITIONS WHEREAS, the City of Plymouth has assessed its needs to include enhanced salary ranges and adjusted titles for positions in the Information Technology division; and WHEREAS, in the current Classification and Compensation Plan Information Technology positions are included in the grade and salary plan with other positions; and WHEREAS, the current salary ranges are inadequate to hire and retain qualified employees; and WHEREAS, the currect titles do not provide sufficient flexibility to hire and promote employees; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA, that it should and hereby does approve changes to the 1998 Classification and Compensation Plan adding an "IT Supplement' with new salary ranges, changed grade designations, and additional and abolished titles as reflected in the attached Position Grade and Salary Chart and IT Supplement.
