HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Resolution 1998-392CITY OF PLYMOUTH RESOLUTION 98-392 APPROVING FINDINGS OF FACT FOR REZONING OF PROPERTY LOCATED ON THE WEST SIDE OF PLYMOUTH BOULEVARD NORTH OF 34TH AVENUE (98027) WHEREAS, BrewFarms LLC has requested reclassification of the zoning from CC -R (City Center—Retail) to CC -RE (City Center—Retail Entertainment) for the property located on the west side of Plymouth Boulevard North of 34"' Avenue, also described as follows: Lot 3, Block 4, Plymouth Hills WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has reviewed said request at a duly called Public Hearing and recommends approval; and WHEREAS, the City Council has adopted an ordinance rezoning the affected parcel from CC -R (City Center—Retail) to CC -RE (City Center—Retail Entertainment). NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA, that it should and hereby does approve the request for reclassification of the zoning from CC -R (City Center—Retail) to CC -RE (City Center—Retail Entertainment) for the property located on the west side of Plymouth Boulevard north of 34"' Avenue, based on the following findings: 1. The proposed rezoning is consistent with the Comprehensive Plan and other City policies and plans. 2. The subject parcel meets the standards of the proposed CC -RE (City Center—Retail Entertainment) zoning district. 3. There is adequate infrastructure available to support the CC -RE zoning.
