RESOLUTION NO. 98 - 319
ORDERING PUBLIC HEARING ON THE VACATION OF
PART OF COUNTY ROAD 9
MINNESOTA LANE TO JUNEAU LANE
WHEREAS, pursuant to M.S.A. 412.851 and the City Charter Section 12.06, Kyle and Denise
Didier, Bill and Tracy Herbert, Don and Rollie Harris, Tom and Jennifer Nguyen, Matt and
Jennifer Eisenberg, Sam and Uma Uppaluri, Kevin and Nina Werstein and John and Linda Blake
have petitioned the City Council for the vacation of the following part of the County Road 9
street right-of-way:
That part of Hennepin County State Aid Highway No. 9 as dedicated in the plat of
PARKVIEW RIDGE which lies southerly of the following described line:
Commencing at the northeast corner of the Northwest Quarter of the Southeast
Quarter of Section 16 Township 118 Range 22; thence southerly along the east
line of said Northwest Quarter of the Southeast Quarter on an assumed bearing of
South 0 degrees 02 minutes 10 seconds East for a distance of 25.31 feet to the
actual point of beginning of the line being described; thence westerly along a
nontangential curve concave to the south having a radius of 1855.87 feet and a
central angle of 9 degrees 23 minutes 50 seconds, for a distance of 304.38 feet,
said arc subtended by a chord bearing North 89 degrees 48 minutes 25 seconds
West; thence South 85 degrees 29 minutes 41 seconds West for 256.00 feet;
thence deflect right along a tangential curve having a radius of 1964.20 feet, for a
distance of 15 8. 10 feet; thence North 89 degrees 53 minutes 31 seconds West for
31.24 feet; thence deflect left along a tangential curve having a radius of 23.00 feet
a distance of 17.68 feet more or less to the northerly line of Block 3, said
PARKVIEW RIDGE and said line there terminating.
AND WHEREAS, the City Council has reviewed said request and found the same to be in order;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA: That it should, and hereby does, establish the date of June 24,
1998 at 7:00 p.m. in the Council Chambers, Plymouth City Center, 3400 Plymouth Boulevard, as
the time and place for the public hearing of said petition and directs the administrative staff to
publish notice of said hearing as provided by law.
