RESOLUTION NO. 98 - 317
ORDERING PUBLIC HEARING ON THE VACATION OF
PART OF A DRAINAGE EASEMENT FOR PONDING
LOT 1, BLOCK 2, THE PONDS AT BASS CREEK 2ND ADDITION
WHEREAS, pursuant to M.S.A. 412.851 and the City Charter Section 12.06, Brian Johnson on behalf
of McHunter Co., L.L.C. has petitioned the City Council for the vacation of the following drainage
easement for ponding:
That part of Lot 1, Block 2, THE PONDS AT BASS CREEK 2N" ADDITION,
according to the recorded plat thereof, Hennepin County, Minnesota, described as
follows:
Commencing at the most northerly corner of said Lot 1, thence on an assumed bearing of
South 43 degrees 42 minutes 28 seconds East, along the northeasterly line of said Lot 1,
a distance of 13.07 feet; thence southeasterly 72.47 feet continuing along said
northeasterly line of Lot I and along a tangential curve, concave to the northeast, having
a radius of 686.52 feet and a central angle of 6 degrees 02 minutes 53 seconds; thence
South 40 degrees 14 minutes 39 seconds West, radial to last described curve, 10.00 feet
to the point of beginning; thence continue South 40 degrees 14 minutes 39 seconds West
21.06 feet; thence North 65 degrees 46 minutes 20 seconds west 52.78 feet; thence
South 12 degrees 24 minutes 27 seconds East 63.09 feet; thence North 64 degrees 49
minutes 55 seconds East 55.55 feet; thence North 40 degrees 46 minutes 14 seconds
West 4.00 feet; thence North 46 degrees 55 minutes 39 seconds East 22.30 feet; thence
northwesterly 21.20 feet along a non tangential curve, concave to the southwest, having
a radius of 365.00 feet and a central angle of 3 degrees 19 minutes 38 seconds to the
point of beginning.
AND WHEREAS, the City Council has reviewed said request and found the same to be in order;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA: That it should, and hereby does, establish the date of June 24, 1998 at
7:00 p.m. in the Council Chambers, Plymouth City Center, 3400 Plymouth Boulevard, as the time and
place for the public hearing of said petition and directs the administrative staff to publish notice of said
hearing as provided by law.
