RESOLUTION NO. 98-288
APPROVAL OF PURCHASE OF ONE NEW TRUCK CHASSIS
WITH MOUNTED STREET FLUSHER
WHEREAS, the City Council has approved in the 1998 Budget the replacement of One Truck
Chassis with Mounted Street Flusher; and
WHEREAS, the City has prepared specifications and received bids on April lit , 1998; and
WHEREAS, the following bids were received:
BIDDER PRICE
Stepp Manufacturing Co., Inc. $90,471.75
Ruffridge-Johnson Equipment Co., Inc. $94,900.02
Sweeney Bros. Tractor, Inc. $95,637.00
WHEREAS, the bid of Stepp Manufacturing Co., Inc. does not meet specifications;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA, that we accept the bid from Ruffridge-Johnson Equipment Co.,
Inc. for $94,900.02 including tax.
FURTHER, that the funding for this purchase will be from: 602-1760-8004
Adopted by the City Council on May 6, 1998.
