RESOLUTION NO. 98 - 284
APPROVING PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS AND
ORDERING ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS
1998 STREET RECONSTRUCTION PROJECT - PHASE II
CITY PROJECT NO. 8001
WHEREAS, pursuant to a resolution passed by the Council on March 4, 1998 the City
Engineer has prepared plans and specifications for the improvement of certain streets in
Maintenance District 68 and Maintenance District 71 as follows:
Maintenance District 68
• Sycamore Lane - 6"' Avenue to Windemere Drive
• Windemere Drive - Pineview Lane to 11"' Avenue
• Windemere Curve - Pineview Lane to Pineview Lane
• Pineview Lane - 6"' Avenue to 13"' Avenue

11"' Avenue - Windemere Drive to Pineview Lane
• Quinwood Lane - l lti' Venue to Pineview Lane
• 13t'' Avenue Cul-de-sac - west of Pineview Lane
Maintenance District 71
• 7t'' avenue Cul-de-sac - west of Harbor Lane
• Harbor Lane - 7th Avenue to lot" Avenue
• lot" Avenue -Harbor Lane to Ithaca Lane
• Ithaca Lane Cul-de-sac - South of 1011 Avenue
by reconstruction of streets with the installation of bituminous pavement, concrete curb
and gutter, storm sewer and all necessary appurtenances and has presented such plans and
specifications to the Council for approval;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA:
1. Such plans and specifications, copies of which are on file in the City
Engineer's office and made a part hereof, are hereby approved.
2. The City Clerk shall prepare and cause to be inserted in the official paper
and in The Constriction Bulletin an advertisement for bids upon the
making of such improvement under such approved plans and specifications.
The advertisement shall be published twice, shall specify the work to be
done, shall state that bids will be received by the City Clerk until 10:00
a.m. on June 4, 1998 at which time they will be publicly opened in the

Hadley Lake Conference Room of the Plymouth City Center building at
3400 Plymouth Boulevard, Plymouth, Minnesota, by the City Manager and
that no bids will be considered unless sealed and filed with the City Clerk
and accompanied by a cash deposit, cashier's check, bid bond or certified
check payable to the City Clerk for five percent of the amount of such bid.
Adopted by the City Council on May 6, 1998.
