RESOLUTION NO. 98 - 259
RECEIVING PRELIMINARY ENGINEERING REPORT
FERNDALE ROAD - COUNTY ROAD 6 TO STATE HIGHWAY 12
CITY PROJECT NO. 6007
WHEREAS, pursuant to a resolution of the Council adopted June 18, 1997 a report has
been prepared by Bonestroo, Rosene, Anderlik and Assoc., Inc. with respect to the
improvement of Ferndale Road from County Road 6 to State Highway 12; and
WHEREAS, the proposed improvement includes the reconstruction of Ferndale Road
from County Road 6 to State Highway 12 by the installation of a 28/32 foot wide
bituminous roadway with or without turn lanes, concrete curb and gutter, with and
without medians, storm sewer, and a 10 foot wide bituminous trail and all necessary
appurtenances; and
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA:
1. Receive the Preliminary Engineering Report.
2. Direct staff to hold a public information meeting to review the Engineering
Report on such proposed improvement with area residents.
3. Direct staff to arrange a joint meeting with the Orono City Council.
