RESOLUTION NO. 98-213
APPROVAL OF HOT MIX ASPHALT BIDS FOR 1998
WHEREAS, the City Council has approved fiinds to purchase hot mix asphalt materials for 1998;
and
WHEREAS, the City has prepared specifications, advertised, and received bids on March 11,
1998; and
WHEREAS, the following bids were received:

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA, that we accept the bid from Midwest Asphalt Corporation and
the bid from Commercial Asphalt Company and that the supplier utilized will be the one with the
lowest price per ton after factoring in the cost per mile to pick up the material.
FURTHER, that the fiinding will come from the three Maintenance Division budgets, primarily
the Street Division, but also Park Maintenance and the Sewer and Water Divisions.
