HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Resolution 1998-206CITY OF PLYMOUTH RESOLUTION 98-206 APPROVING FINDINGS OF FACT FOR AMENDING SECTION 21460 (C-2, NEIGHBORHOOD COMMERCIAL) OF THE PLYMOUTH CITY CODE (98012) WHEREAS, the City of Plymouth finds it necessary to establish regulations for transient produce merchants in the City of Plymouth. WHEREAS, the uncontrolled establishment of farmer's markets and produce stands may adversely impact adjacent properties. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA, that revisions to Section 21460 of the City Code are necessary to: Establish standards which permit an opportunity for the sale of produce and other locally grown products; 2. Ensure that transient farmer's marker and produce stands are operated in a manner that that does not adversely impact the public health, safety or aesthetics of the community; and Ensure that adequate parking and traffic circulation are provided through the standards and regulations of the zoning ordinance.
