RESOLUTION NO. 98-175
AWARD BID TO DALBEC ROOFING INC. FOR CITY HALL ROOF REPLACEMENT
WHEREAS, specifications were developed for roof replacement at City Hall; and
WHEREAS, advertisements for bids for roof replacement were placed in the Sailor Newspaper;
and
WHEREAS, bids were received, opened and tabulated according to law, and the following bids
were received:

Central Roofing 108,653
John A. Dalsin Roofing 113,899
Dalco Roofing 113,994
WHEREAS, it appears that Dalbec Roofing Inc. is the lowest responsible bidder complying with
the minimum specifications.
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA, that the bid for the re -roofing of City Hall is awarded
to Dalbec Roofing Inc. in the amount of $100,225, and fiinding shall come from the Facilities
Management Fund; and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED THAT:
The Finance Director is hereby authorized and directed to enter into a contract with Dalbec
Roofing Inc. for the re -roofing of City Hall according to plans and specifications on file.
