RESOLUTION NO. 98 -160
COUNTY ROAD 101 IMPROVEMENTS
HIGHWAY 55 TO COUNTY ROAD 24
ADVANCEMENT OF PROJECT
WHEREAS, Hennepin County has programmed funding for improvements on County Road
101 from Highway 55 to County Road 24 in the years 2000 through 2003; and
WHEREAS, the City's Capital Improvements Program provides the necessary funding from
the City for the project; and
WHEREAS, it may be possible to advance constriction of the project if the plans and
specifications are completed in 1998; and
WHEREAS, this would require the services of a consulting engineer to prepare these plans.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA: That the Council requests the Hennepin County
Department of Transportation to retain the services of a consulting engineer to prepare the
plans for the improvements of County Road 101 from Highway 55 to County Road 24.
FURTHER BE IT RESOLVED, that the City will pay for the services of the consulting
engineer with the County to reimburse the City its portion of these costs by giving credit to
the City as part of the normal cost sharing agreement for the project.
