RESOLUTION NO. 98 - 147
APPROVAL OF TRANSIT BUDGET CARRYOVER FUNDS FOR THE
FOUR SEASON MALL PARK AND RIDE LOT RECONSTRUCTION
CITY PROJECT NO. 7013
WHEREAS, on March 5, 1997 the City entered into an agreement with the owners of the
Four Seasons Shopping Mall to permit the City to utilize a designated portion of their
parking lot for the required park and ride facility for approximately 65 vehicles; and
WHEREAS, the City committed to a substantial capital investment for improvements to the
Four Seasons Mall Park and Ride facility and also is obligated by this agreement to reimburse
the owners of the Four Seasons Shopping Mall in the amount of $13,300 annually from the
Plymouth Metrolink Operating Budget; and
WHEREAS, the City applied for and received Regional Transit Capital (RTC) fiinds to
improve and reconstruct the park and ride site; and
WHEREAS, the application for RTC funds required contributing funds from the City of
Plymouth to complete the project, and
WHEREAS, the cities transit administrator has determined that an expenditure of $26,356.11
in budget Carryover Funds is necessary to complete the previously approved project in its
entirety.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA: That the cities transit administrator is hereby
authorized and directed to apply to the Metropolitan Council for Transit Budget Carryover
Funds in the amount of $26,356.11 to complete the final project pay out on the Four Seasons
Mall Park and Ride Lot Reconstruction Project, City Project No. 7013.
Adopted by the City Council on March 4, 1998.
