RESOLUTION 98 - 126
APPROVING LOT DIVISION/LOT CONSOLIDATION FOR SANDMAN MOTELS,
LLC FOR OUTLOT A, ELWELL MILEY AND QUINN ADDITION AND LOT 1,
BLOCK 1, PLYMOUTH FREEWAY CENTER 2N" ADDITION (98011)
WHEREAS, an application has been filed by Sandman Motels, LLC, with the concurrence
of Thomas Reiersgord (owner of Outlot A, Elwell Miley and Quinn Addition) which
requests approval of a lot division/lot consolidation to divide and consolidate two parcels
of land, as legally described on Attachment One, attached hereto and hereby made a part
hereof, and
WHEREAS, the proposed lot arrangement for which the lot division/lot consolidation is
sought is as legally described on Attachment Two, attached hereto and hereby made a part
hereof, and
WHEREAS, the City Council has fiilly considered the request for the lot division/lot
consolidation.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA, that it should and hereby does approve the
lot division/lot consolidation for Sandman Motels, LLC and Thomas, subject to the
following conditions:
1. This resolution approves a lot division/lot consolidation for Outlot A, Elwell Miley and
Quinn Addition and Lot 1, Block 1, Plymouth Freeway Center 2"a Addition, in
accordance with the plans received by the City on January 23, 1998.
2. Compliance with the wetland preservation regulations of the Zoning Ordinance,
including wetland buffering, stricture setback, and monumentation, shall be required
in conjunction with any site plan applications in the future for Outlot A.

3. Compliance with the tree preservation regulations of the Zoning shall be required in
conjunction with any site plan applications in the future for Outlot A.
4. Compliance with the City Engineer's Memo.
5. Standard six-foot wide drainage and utility easements shall be recorded along the new
lot line at the time the lot division/lot consolidation is recorded.
6. The applicant may wish to vacate the existing drainage and utility easements along the
east lot line of Lot 1, Block 1, Plymouth Freeway Center 2"a Addition.
7. Both the affected property owners shall acknowledge the conditions of this resolution
prior to filing the lot division/lot consolidation with Hennepin County.
