RESOLUTION NO. 98 - 119
ORDERING IMPROVEMENT AND PREPARATION OF
PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS
ZACHARY LANE IMPROVEMENTS
36TH AVE. NORTH TO COUNTY ROAD 10 (BASS LAKE ROAD)
CITY PROJECT NO. 5030
WHEREAS, Resolution No. 98-53 of the City Council adopted the 21" day of January,
1998, fixed a date for a public hearing with respect to the improvements to Zachary Lane
from 36"' Avenue North to County Road 10 (Bass Lake Road); and
WHEREAS, the proposed project includes the installation of a 32 foot wide 9 ton
roadway with concrete curb and gutter, storm sewer, and 10 foot wide bituminous trails
and all necessary appurtenances; and
WHEREAS, ten days published notice of the hearing through two weekly publications of
the required notice was given and the hearing was held thereon the 18th day of February,
1998, at which time all persons desiring to be heard were given an opportunity to be heard
thereon;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA:
1. Such improvement is hereby ordered as proposed in the Council resolution
adopted January 21, 1998.
2. Short, Elliott, Hendrickson, Inc. is designated as engineer for the improvement.
They shall prepare plans and specifications for the making of such improvement.
FURTHER, that the staff shall review phasing of the project and City fiunding and make a
recommendation before the contract is approved by the City Council.
Adopted by the City Council on February 18, 1998.
