RESOLUTION NO. 98 - 103
APPROVING 1998 MUNICIPAL RECYCLING GRANT APPLICATION &
1997 MUNICIPAL RECYCLING FINAL REPORT
WHEREAS, Hennepin County has adopted the funding assistance policy for source
separated recyclables to distribute fiends to the Cities for development and implementation of
waste reduction and recycling programs; and
WHEREAS, Hennepin County has set as a requirement that the City furnish a final report for
1997 and apply for the 1998 Municipal Recycling grant; and
WHEREAS, the City desires to receive these County fiends.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA: That the City submit the 1998 Municipal Recycling
Grant Application and 1997 Municipal Recycling Report to Hennepin County and authorize
the Mayor and City Manager sign the application.
Adopted by the City Council on February 18, 1998.
