APPROVING COMMISSIONERS' AWARD
SCHMIDT LAKE ROAD IMPROVEMENTS
EAST OF PEONY LANE
WIKMAN PROPERTY
CITY PROJECT NO. 7005
WHEREAS, the City of Plymouth has authorized the improvement of Schmidt Lake Road east of
Peony Lane and authorized condemnation to obtain necessary easements for the road constriction;
and
WHEREAS, the Commissioners have awarded an amount of $83,000 for the Wikman parcel; and
WHEREAS, the attorney for the property owner has stated they will not appeal the Commissioners'
award; and
WHEREAS, it is recommended that the City not appeal the Commissioners' award to District Court.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA: That the Commissioners' award for the Wikman parcel in the
amount of $83,000 is approved for payment.
FURTHER, that the fiinding is a part of the project cost from special assessments and MSA.
Adopted by the City Council on February 4, 1998.
