RESOLUTION NO. 98 - 69
CALLING FOR HEARING ON IMPROVEMENTS
1998 STREET RECONSTRUCTION PROJECT - PHASE II
CITY PROJECT NO. 8001
WHEREAS, pursuant to a resolution of the Council adopted January 7, 1998 a report has
been prepared with respect to certain streets in Maintenance Districts 68 and 71 based
upon the 1997 Pavement Management Update; and
WHEREAS, the proposed improvement includes the reconstruction of streets by the
installation of bituminous pavement, concrete curb and gutter, storm sewer, and all
necessary appurtenances; and
WHEREAS, said report was received by the Council on February 4, 1998;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA:
1. The Council will consider the improvement of such area in accordance
with the report and the assessment of abutting and adjacent property
within the designated 1998 Street Reconstruction Project - Phase II
area for all or a portion of the cost of the improvement pursuant to
Minnesota Statutes 429.011 to 429.111 (Laws 1953, Chapter 398, as
amended) at an estimated total cost of the improvement of $1,825,098.
2. A public hearing shall be held on such proposed improvement on the
4th day of March, 1998 in the Council Chambers of the Plymouth City
Center at 3400 Plymouth Boulevard at 7:00 p.m., and the Clerk shall
give mailed and published notice of such hearing and improvements as
required by law.
