RESOLUTION 98-67
APPROVING 1998 PUBLIC TREE AND STUMP REMOVAL CONTRACT
WHEREAS, the Forestry Division will act on the 1998 Tree & Stump Removal on City owned
lands; and
WHEREAS, in accordance with City bid, specifications were proposed and distributed and bid
proposals were received and opened on January 21, 1998
WHEREAS, the following contractors received bid specifications, and one bid was received by
the City:

Coolen Bros Tree Service $39,277.20
E -Z Out Stump No bid
G. M. Clark Contractors No bid
Ostvig Tree, Inc. No bid
Randy's Tree Service No bid
Tree Masters No bid
United Tree Service No bid
Up & Above Tree Service No bid
AND, WHEREAS, the bid of Coolen Brothers Tree Service is in conformance with City
specifications for tree and stump removal, Coolen Brothers Tree Service is therefore declared
lowest responsible bidder.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA, that it should, and hereby does, accept the proposal of Coolen
Brothers Tree Service in the amount of $39,277.20. Further, that fiinds in the amount of
$39,277.20 are authorized from account no. 101-1330-7518.
