RESOLUTION NO. 98 - 63
APPROVING NEGOTIATION FOR PURCHASE OF USED
SKATE PARK EQUIPMENT
WHEREAS, Rollerblade Corporation has indicated a desire to sell their aggressive skate park
equipment, and
WHEREAS, both the community focus group and the Park and Recreation Advisory Commission
have reviewed the options for aggressive skate parks within the City of Plymouth, and
WHEREAS, both groups along with staff, think that it is proper that we continue to plan for such a
facility,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE PLYMOUTH CITY COUNCIL that the
Director of Parks and Recreation is authorized to begin negotiations for the acquisition of used
aggressive skate park equipment from Rollerblade Corporation through True Ride Corporation for
the possible development of a skate park facility within the City of Plymouth, adjacent to the
Plymouth Ice Center.
Adopted by the Plymouth City Council on January 21, 1998.
