RESOLUTION NO. 98 - 53
CALLING FOR HEARING ON IMPROVEMENTS
ZACHARY LANE - 36TH AVENUE TO
COUNTY ROAD 10 (BASS LAKE ROAD)
CITY PROJECT NO. 5030
WHEREAS, a Preliminary Engineering Report was accepted by the Council on December
3, 1997, with respect to improvements to Zachary Lane from 36"' Avenue to County Road
10 (Bass Lake Road); and
WHEREAS, the proposed improvement includes the reconstruction of Zachary Lane by
the installation of bituminous pavement, concrete curb and gutter, storm sewer, a
bituminous trail, and all necessary appurtenances; and
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA:
1. The Council will consider the improvement of such project in
accordance with the report and the assessment of abutting and adjacent
property along Zachary Lane from 'Wh Avenue to County Road 10 for
all or a portion of the cost of the improvement pursuant to Minnesota
Statutes 429.011 to 429.111 (Laws 1953, Chapter 398, as amended) at
an estimated total cost of the improvement of $3,930,000.
2. A public hearing shall be held on such proposed improvement on the
18th day of February, 1998 in the Council Chambers of the Plymouth
City Center at 3400 Plymouth Boulevard at 7:00 p.m., and the Clerk
shall give mailed and published notice of such hearing and
improvements as required by law.
