RESOLUTION 98-32
APPROVING THE BIDDING OF ONE MOBILE PORTABLE STAGE
WHEREAS, the Parks and Recreation Advisory Commission has adopted a 1998-2002
capital improvements program, which includes the acquisition of one portable mobile
stage, and
WHEREAS, the Director of Parks and Recreation is also recommending the acquisition of
the portable stage; and
WHEREAS, the cost of the portable stage is estimated at $85,000 and will be financed
internally by the City through an interfiind loan from the Central Equipment Fund and
reimbursed from park dedication fees.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE PLYMOUTH CITY COUNCIL that
the Director Parks and Recreation is authorized to secure bids for the purchase of one
mobile portable stage.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that prior to Council action on the bids, staff is to provide
information on rental alternatives.
