Others present: Blank, Bu cwh" Thorsston, and Dick Knutson of why' McCombs -Knutson, Inc. 1., CALL TO ORDER Chairman Rice called the meeting to order at. ?:3.0 p.m.. in the Plymouth City Center Council Chambers.: 2 APPROVAL OF MINUTES Steve Chesebrough made a motion to approve the minutes which was seconded by Alan Brass.: Vote taken: all ayes. 3., VISITOR PRESENTATIONS Rick discussed his Fall programs which include 4 -Man Football, 3 -Man Basketball, 5 -Man Basketball, and youth wrestling instruction. Jane handed out an information sheet comparing program participation: between 1979 and 1930. Play Pals: had lower participation this year than last, and there seems to be no explanation for this, Ilan Brass said that Aerobic Dance its very popular in his area of Plymouth. Dick Knutson,of McCombs -Knutson shared site plans; of the Prudential. Development with the Commission. This complex°will be located on the northeast corner of Highways 55 and 494. He asked the Commission. if they anticipate any problems with Mr.Knutson's plan to incorpor ate trails at this site. The Commission had no comment at this time. Eric said that he would be reviewing the plans following their submission to the Planning Commission. and tiie City Council;. Mr.. Knutson requested that he be placed on the PRAC agenda again in September.` 4. Everything is on schedule and.gong well. Ridgemount site plans have been approved by the athletic associations and.school districts. Zachary playfield site has been condemned. Chairman Rice suggested a ribbon cutting ceremony for publicity purposes., but no action was taken. b., 1981 Budget Update:. Eric shared' Recreation budget book with Commissioni Painted out fee. and tax supported programs Budget book has been presented to City Council. Chairman Rice asked, if some commissioners might be present at the. August 19th Council meeting when the Recreation program budget would be presented,.
