RESOLUTION No. 2015-206
REJECT BIDS FOR PLYMOUTH ICE CENTER Ft LIFE TIME FITNESS PARKING LOT
IMPROVEMENTS, CITY PROJECT PRK40044
WHEREAS, pursuant to an advertisement for bids for the Plymouth Ice Center and Life Time
Fitness Parking Lot Improvements, bids were received, opened and tabulated according to law, and the
following bids were received complying with the advertisement:

$800,000.00
WHEREAS, it appears that Midwest Asphalt Corporation is the lowest responsible bidder,
complying with the minimum specifications; and
WHEREAS, all bids are significantly higher than estimated and Elfering & Associates, our
Consulting Engineers, recommends rejecting all bids; and
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH,
MINNESOTA, that:
1. All bids received are hereby rejected.
2. The City Clerk is hereby authorized and directed to return forthwith to all bidders the deposits
made with their bids.
APPROVED by the City Council on this 28th day of July, 2015.
