RESOLUTION No. 2015-205
APPROVE CHANGE ORDERS AND FINAL PAYMENT FOR THE
HILDE PERFORMANCE CENTER PHASE 2) Ft VETERANS MEMORIAL (PRK4001 1)
WHEREAS, the City of Plymouth, as owner, and Custom Builders Inc., as contractor, have entered
into an agreement for the construction of the Hilde Performance Center (Phase 2) and Veterans Memorial
(PRK40011), and said agreement was approved by the City Council on July 22, 2014; and
WHEREAS, the contractor has submitted a request for final payment in the amount of
$202,180.31, for a cumulative payment of $1,242,612.61; and
WHEREAS, the City's consultant has certified their acceptance of the work; and
WHEREAS, City staff has reviewed and accepted all work on this project; and
WHEREAS, the project was authorized at $1,480,000 and funded through the Community
Improvement Fund. The overall project provides for Custom Builders, Inc. contract work of
$1,242,612.61, an electronic sign, irrigation, contingencies, permit fees, and the project consultant.
With the change orders and final payments, the project cost is $1,478,976.45 which is $1,023.55
under budget.
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH,
MINNESOTA, that the final payment for the construction of the Hilde Performance Center (Phase 2) and
Veterans Memorial (PRK40011) to Custom Builders, Inc. in the amount of $202,180.31, for a cumulative
payment of $1,242,612.61, is hereby approved.
APPROVED by the City Council on this 28th day of July, 2015.
