Dear «MrMs» «Last Name»:
On Thursday, September 14th from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM, the City of Plymouth is bringing
together key players in our community to talk transit. Please join us for this roundtable, entitled
Plymouth Transit Roundtable: Are there gaps in Plymouth's Community Transit System? This
meeting will be held at the Plymouth City Hall in the Medicine Lake Conference Room.
The City of Plymouth operates its own bus system, Plymouth Metrolink, but the City is not the
only transit provider serving Plymouth residents. To help all of us get a clearer picture of the
diverse services, service providers and customer groups using transit service in Plymouth, the
City is inviting all representatives from each provider to discuss the services it offers.
By sharing information, we hope to better understand how each of our services complements
others, identify gaps in service, determine areas of overlap and look for ways we can all better
work together to meet the needs of Plymouth residents.
Plan to be part of this important community conversation. If you are unable to attend, please
arrange to have a representative from your organization attend the roundtable. We are interested
in learning about your organization, including:
• Hours of service;
• Locations served outside of Plymouth;
• Number of Plymouth residents served; and
• Age policies or other restrictions.
Attached is a list of invited guests. If anyone else should be included, please pass on their name
and mailing address to me. I want to ensure that we all get the best information we can about
transit needs and services in Plymouth.
