HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Resolution 2001-556CITY OF PLYMOUTH RESOLUTION NO. 2001-556 AUTHORIZING THE VACATION OF THE DRAINAGE AND UTILITY EASEMENTS WITHIN GRAVIERE ADDITION WI4EREAS, a petition was received to vacate the drainage and utility easements within Graviere Addition; and WI4EREAS, said petition was signed by a majority of the owners of the land abutting the area proposed to be vacated; and WI4EREAS, a public hearing with respect to said vacation was scheduled for December 18, 2001 in accordance with Minnesota Statutes 412.851 and the City Charter Section 12.06; and WIffiREAS, a notice of publication of said hearing was published and posted two weeks prior to the meeting of December 18, 2001; and WIffiREAS, all property owners adjacent to the proposed vacation were duly notified by mail; and WIffiREAS, the Council did hold a public hearing on December 18, 2001 to inform any and all interested parties relevant to the vacation of the drainage and utility easements within Graviere Addition; and WI4EREAS, it was determined by the City Council that said easements were not needed for public purposes; ('_54932CCR 2001-??6.doc Resolution No. 2001-556 Page 2 of 2 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA: That the following drainage and utility easements be vacated: All of the drainage and utility easements as shown on recorded plat of Graviere Addition, Hennepin County, Minnesota. Adopted by the City Council on December 18, 2001. STATE OF MINNESOTA) COUNTY OF HENNEPIN) SS. The undersigned, being the duly qualified and appointed City Clerk of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota, certifies that I compared the foregoing resolution adopted at a meeting of the Plymouth City Council on December 18, 2001, with the original thereof on file in my office, and the same is a correct transcription thereof.
