RESOLUTION NO. 2001-498
ORDERING IMPROVEMENT AND PREPARATION
OF PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS
NATHAN LANE/LANCASTER LANE
STREET IMPROVEMENTS
CITY PROJECT NO. 1014
WHEREAS, Resolution No. 2001-436 of the City Council adopted the 9"' day of October,
2001, fixed a date for a public hearing with respect to the improvements to Nathan
Lane/Lancaster Lane from south of County Road 9 to 45"' Avenue; and
WHEREAS, the proposed project includes the reconstruction of Nathan Lane/Lancaster
Lane by widening for turn lanes, concrete medians, concrete curb and gutter, storm sewer,
new 8' wide bituminous trail, traffic ccntrol signal system and all necessary appurtenances;
and
WHEREAS, ten days published notice of the hearing through two weekly publications of
the required notice was given and the hearing was held thereon the 131"' day of November,
2001, at which time all persons desiring to be heard were given an opportunity to be heard
thereon;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA:
1. Such improvement is hereby ordered as proposed in the Council
resolution adopted October 9, 2001.
2. Short, Elliott, Hendrickson, Inc. is designated as engineer for the
improvement. They shall prepare plans and specifications for the
making of such improvement.
Adopted by the City Council on November 13, 2001.
