RESOLUTION 2001-478
APPROVING ACQUISITION OF PROPERTY FOR OPEN SPACE
WHEREAS, the City of Plymouth has an adopted Comprehensive Plan; and
WHEREAS, said plan identifies the Northwest Greenway open space program for acquisition;
and
WHEREAS, ten acres of property to be include in this open space acquisition program are
currently for sale;
WHEREAS, the City of Plymouth had this property appraised for $205,000; and
WHEREAS, the Director of Parks and Recreation has recommended acquisition of this property;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE PLYMOUTH CITY COUNCIL that the
Director of Parks and Recreation is authorized to proceed with the acquisition of said property in
the amount of $205,000; plus miscellaneous closing costs, and fiirther, that fiinding for this
acquisition will be taken from the Capital Improvement Fund open space program.
Adopted by the Plymouth City Council on October 23, 2001.
