RESOLUTION NO. 2001-460
AUTHORIZING "NO PARKING" RESTRICTIONS ON WEST SIDE OF
RANCHVIEW LANE BETWEEN THE TWO BIRCHVIEW ELEMENTARY
SCHOOL DRIVEWAYS FROM 8:30 A.M. TO 4:30 P.M. WEEKDAYS
WHEREAS, there is a concern for the safety of the children who are either walking to/from
school or being picked -up by parents and currently pass between parked cars to cross Ranchview
Lane; and
WHEREAS, the principal of Birchview Elementary School has requested that parking on the
west side of Ranchview Lane between the two school driveways be restricted during weekday
school use times;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA: That it hereby, authorizes the installation of signs at the
following locations: "No Parking" 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. weekdays, on the west side of
Ranchview Lane between the two Birchview Elementary School driveways.
Adopted by the City Council on October 23, 2001.
