RESOLUTION NO. 2001-443
APPROVING INCREASED FUNDING FOR THE
HILDE PERFORMANCE CENTER
WHEREAS, the Plymouth Civic League has received formal bids for the constriction of
the Hilde Performance Center; and
WHEREAS, certain items may require additional funding in order to keep the project
within the million dollar donation; and
WHEREAS, City staff has reviewed a request from the Plymouth Civic League to fiind
three additional items on the project,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL that the
budget for the Hilde Performance Center shall be increased from $150,000 to $262,523,
and further, that this additional fiinding shall be taken from park dedication funds, and
further, that this money shall be used for storm sewer, soil corrections and paving,
sanitary sewer, toilet room rough -ins, sound system conduit, moveable sound panels
without baffle grids, increasing lighting from 25 to 50 foot candles, sound system
components for general use, bathrooms, and further, of the increased amount, there is a
10% contingency included in that amount.
